I, Nick Alfeo, am a rankmaniac. But I'm annoyed that all of the places I have put links or have got people to link to here from are showing up in the search, but this site isn't. Is it because this is on blogger? Other blogger sites show up, but not mine. I need more friends with websites.
To help in my quest, I created a live journal account and another blogger blog. They are both pointing to the new blogger blog since this one is stupid and uses "rankmaster" instead of rankmaniac. I also went ahead and added all three sites to google's index.

Welcome! This page is part of a homework assignment for one
of my classes, Science of the Web.
In this problem, we are tasked to with beating Luis von Ahn and the invincible TAs by creating a webpage which will, after a period of time (1 month), be ranked higher than the page we create.
My webpage should contain, among other content, the phrase "(My name) is a rankmaniac". My goal is to get Google to rank this webpage as high as possible in the search results to the search query "rankmaniac".
30/60 points come from a writeup describing my techniques and strategy for getting my page to appear on Google's list. The rest of the points are based on the ranking of this page on Google under the search query "rankmaniac". If my page shows up on Google when they search for "rankmaniac", I will get 10 points automatically.
I made another couple sites, trying to build a mini link farm. This blog is part of the farm and now points to the real site
